Would you use an after-death messaging service?
A company called Heavenote is offering people the opportunity to record video messages which are delivered to designated people when the person passes away.
The Heavenote website offers people the opportunity to manage their “digital legacy”.
The idea is to create a message – which can include pictures or a video – and once Heavenote is assured you have died the message is sent out to the people you have listed as points of contact.
How does Heavenote know someone is still alive?
You can choose from two checking options: the website will “check up on you” or a friend can enter a specified code upon someone’s passing which will prompt the message to be sent.
You can find out more about Heavenote by visiting the company’s website here.
